I agree with Red on this one. I'm sure the rumors will circulate, but I don't think Michigan really has any interest in him. From what I've gathered there are some booster types up there that don't particularly like him, even if the fans do. Besides, what are they paying up there now days?? $2.5 million? I'm not sure Miles would take a $1.5 million cut to go up there and start from scratch with a school who's program is struggling.

If he did, however...I'd be disappointed, but I wouldn't hate him for it. He's done some wonderful things here and has never made any attempts to hide his love for his alma mater.

Yeah, I think its inevitable that UM will contact Miles. Will he go? I hope not, but if he does I wish him well and will thank him for what he's done here. We will be ok, and will hire the best damn yankee coach $ can buy.:helmet:

I would not be surprised if Les received offers from any school.

I would be shocked if he accepted any offer.

I think he's at LSU till he retires or the team suffers a complete and utter meltdown mode and the fans feed him to Mike XX.

Yeah, I think UM makes a run at him too. But, this time, I don't think they're going to try to be so quiet about it, which will give CLM a pretty early chance to accept it :cry: or turn them down flat. :thumb:

man i know this is about CLM and UM, but i have to say that is always my expectation of LSU football. i don't care if they loss all their games as long as they fight and don't give up. honestly don't know how realistic that is though. any husky fans wanna chime in?

UM will take a run at Miles if the need arises. They wont make the same two mistakes they made last time either. They wont low ball Les because they think he's a company man and will come running. They will also be very discrete this time and not put Miles in a corner. There are VERY influential boosters that like Miles despite Carr. Will Miles be interested? Who knows. I think he is happy but its still his school and you never know.

Roy Williams spurned NC the first time and jumped the next time. Its possible Miles could end up the same.

i noticed it. just kind of scared how he knew that.

that is going to be one of the problems. michigan seems too divided on the issue. dean knew what he wanted.

Carr's influence is waning. The divide and debate will be about Harbaugh and Les. We'll see how it plays out.
