I disagree, Arky has been given NO love and they wont gain any with a win over LSU, LSU will not drop that far and damn sure wont drop below Oregon, maybe not even Bama, remember, a loss for LSU hurts both Bama and Oregon in the computers

We have beaten 6 ranked teams, 4 on the road including at the time #2 and #3

Our complete body of work will not be overlooked, unless Arky comes in and BLOWS us out. Which wont happen and I dont see LSU falling below 4th maybe even 3rd

well ... I dang sure hope you are right.

But then ... I don't expect us to lose to Arky. I am thinking LSU goes out undefeated this year. This will be a team to remember.

Now that I agree with. If that game were in Arkansas I would give Arkansas more of a chance, but since its in DV, LSU will do to Arky exactly what it has done to every other team. Arky will keep it close and compete in the 1st half, may even jump out to an early 2 score lead if we come out flat or have a misque....but by 2nd half, LSU and their depth will completely take over and it will end in a rout.

After the game, expect a whole lot of what you have heard from Oregon, WVU, Bama, etc.

    - We made too many mistakes
    - We beat ourselves
    - We would beat them if we played again

    blah, blah, blah

I'm sure they think their O is better than Oregon's and WVU, but I would advise them to at least check out those games and then consider what having the 111th ranked defense for that game might mean. And like you said, you have been here. I was at the Championship game in Jan. 2004. If you were here for it, you know just how insane this city was before, during and after the game. LSU folks outnumbered OU folks throughout the city at a rate probably exceeding 100-1.

I am sure Okie St. would love to get to the BCSNCG, but this is not the kind of environment that would lead to hospitable memories. In fact, if they came here under such circumstances and got destroyed, most of these people would go home mouthing off about how New Orleans sucked, Louisiana sucked, the food sucked, the people sucked and LSU sucked. Etc. I can see it now.

Now that I think about it, this might make OU fan happy. Have fun. :D

Tossing out the NW State, LSU averaged 34.5 points against 8 defenses ranked (#1, #14, #23, #31, #40, #62, #70, #75) in the country. I don't think Oklahoma State's #110 ranked defense scares the Tigers.
