So do I have this right, CBS is showing 4 LSU games in a row?

    Yes with an *.

Since we have an open date on the 29th, they will obviously show someone else.

I know there is another thread about "day games" etc.
but Saturday night in death valley is not just a time. It really is a tradition for us.
I really think our administration should do something to at least guarantee 2 SEC games will be at night.
They are really taking away one of the special things about LSU football. Many teams dont like night games (OU) I speak to their fans and they hate them.
For us it is part of our heritage and our culture.
This really stinks that we had so few games at night this year.
It really takes away the aura of LSU football. yes I know when you are good you get on TV.
I am pretty sure LSU vs. Bama will get a pretty good draw for ratings at night....

    Sheesh..

    Like what?

LSU gets roughly 20 mil per year from TV revenue. Like I said in another thread, if you want SEC games at night, bring back Curley Hallman.

I would love for CBS to show more prime time games, but other than that what the hell. I'd much rather be in this position and just play the crummy teams at night. Our record for day games since 2000 impresses me more than our record at night considering the day games are almost always vs very god teams.

    LOL :rofl::rofl::rofl:.

Why did we ever hire a guy named after the dumbest of the 3 Stooges? OH Yea, cause he was the only guy to offer some kid named Favre a schoolership. Of course - Curley wanted him to play defense. Cause Curley was a stooge, but he was a lucky one.

Day games don't seem to be an issue with fans living out of state but for those of us who live here and have season tickets it sucks!

I'm not sure how much of the $55 million we get but unfortunately the contract was for 15 years.

Hopefully the addition of Texas A&M and maybe a 14th team will increase our chances of playing at night. Hopefully any changes to the contract won't screw it up more. Wouldn't it be fun to play all games at 11:20 a.m.? :dis:

I could live with a starting time between 5:00-6:00 but 11:20 and 2:30 suck and will cost LSU. There's no reason to discuss stadium expansion and you can expect many more empty seats.
