I know Davis was supposed to be there. Scout had him listed as to be there. Blackwell wasnt scheduled according to Scout.

Im pretty sure in a different thread that Cparso said that Davis wasnt there? So Im not sure what to believe, I really hope he wasnt. With everything he said the other day, I couldnt imagine why he would visit with the devil. Hopefully this was just a big rumor set up by Bama fans that took a life of its own.

Cparso said Davis wasn't there because Davis texted Mike S. at Rivals.com and said he was at his uncle's funeral... But that story proved to be a lie.

So, IMO, even though I would still be upset if Davis visited 'Bama, having him fabricate a story about him NOT being there because he was attending a death in the family is pittiful and I'm now feeling more angry with the situation because his character TOTALLY fell off the charts as far as I'm concerned.

Now, it's like, "What do you do?" Do you cut off your nose to spite your face and pull his scholarship--allowing him to back-in to 'Bama because the place where he wanted to be in the first place told him "tough luck"??? That would only give Saban what he wants: Luther Davis AND another pot-shot at Les Miles and LSU.

Very good question. I dont think there is a good answer either way if he did in fact go to Bama. You right about $aban getting what he wants if Miles take the offer away from Davis. Id still hate to think that a Louisiana player would have sold himself to the devil like that.

By the way I was going by a statement Cparso made earlier this morning about Davis apparently not going to Bama. Hopefully we will get some clarification later on.

Something just is not adding up. Why would you want to diss a coach to the press after the home visit , then end up visiting the devil's home base. If it was me, I wouldn't have the ....... to show up on campus and face Saban.

I would need to see the proof that he was actually there.

Exactly right. Davis would be digging himself a hole considering how he described Saban's visit and the quotes of what he said, which were quite negative. If he actually went to Bama, and then lied to the press about being there??

Anybody else seeing a common theme here? I suppose it could have happened this way, but we certainly know how the internet is filled with rumors so it may be a bit early to judge. For example, think about the Perilloux situation. I suppose we will just have to wait like everybody else to find out what is actually true. Hopefully, it won't be much longer.

Come on. Les isn't going to pull an offer from a blue chip recruit because he takes a visit. He'll pull an offer when he's out of available scholarships maybe. "Comittments" are never binding and are not official. Les is going to pursue every one of his "commits" until they sign that LOI.

Just curious, but have you considered the possibility that Mike S. has been twisting the story a bit on his part?

Could the master liar satan have given the cover story to L. Davis? He'd have to be pretty desparate to tell a potential recruit to dis him in the press to cover him taking an ill advised visit. But after what satan did to the Dolphins, I would not put anything past satan. I have no repect left for him.
