Coach Mainieri said during one of the pre-taped ESPN segments that adding another title to the intimidator would be awfully nice.. so perhaps they'll make a new one instead of adding on? Either way, I'm a fan of their decision.. what a problem to have. :hihi:
I heard CPM asked Alleva that in the post game press conference and Alleva said yes. At least that's what one of the articles I read had it in it.
GOOD!!!...My seats are down the first base line! :hihi: I'll miss Jared Mitchell in RF but look forward to the next great Tiger to take his place. Several people who sit near me asked this year if I thought the Intimidator was going to be moved to the new park. I told them since it had been nine years since winning the last title, it made for a good time to leave the sign behind. (as opposing to taking it down, etc.) I said they'll probably just go with the championship flags in CF until we win it all again and then it will return. We all agreed this could be that year. Thankfully it was! I can't wait until they raise the flag and unveil a new Intimidator! :thumb:
excellent news! now to all the greenies with bat envy i have heard make snarky comments about the intimidator such as "it only intimidates themselves". or the "living in the past" type comments.... care to rethink those comments. *smiles sweetly* :grin:
