If we start the day with ESPN preaching a one loss SEC should play for the NC, how can a tool like Robert Smith say we shouldn't be considered?

Because we still won't get any respect unless we stomp a mudhole in a top 10 ranked Arkansas on the road in 3 weeks.

    Simply put.

    You are 100% correct.

Also, who would we displace in NC game..Auburn or Oregon. To he honest, I have seen NOTHING like Oregon in the game on tv several weeks ago. Nothing. And I am a PAC -10 hater from the git go.

This. That said, though, we all ought to feel more confident about that game now than before yesterday. Let's hope our O has "turned the tide" (pun intended), and can build on yesterday -- maybe that's just what the doctor ordered. I'm not worried about our D. We did a great job defensively yesterday against a strong offensive team.

Florida was 12-1 last year and their only loss was to #1 'Bama...just sayin.

The only way we play for a Championship is if we got some serious help.

    Our best bet this year:

    Sugar Bowl!!!

This is true. We should probably just pull for AU to win out and go the BCSNCG, while we get a BCS bid--though we will get a BCS bid regardless if we win out.

But...it is fun to think of possible "mad" scenarios that could put us in the game playing for all the marbles. This year is shaping up to be as insane as '07, so why not?

Never. I thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to see AU continue in irrelevency. Forever.
