I didn’t answer the question? That’s rich. If you think linearly, Miles has bigger stats than Saban. LSU doesn’t live in a bubble. Before Saban, beating #1 was an unthinkable, historic achievement. After, we expected to win. We were at the top of college football. Within a few years Saban was able to dethrone our best ever coach Miles; we fell to third best or worse in our own division. Your boy’s best wasn’t good enough. I thank Miles for the highs, I call him out for his lows when folks refuse to stay even keel in their recollection. I don’t love Alabama, hell, every time I see Saban I want to take him out at the knees despite everything he did for us. He still has our number though. Is it seven straight? I hate that shit.
That is also true. Pretending like he "isn't that good" just because he doesn't wear our colors anymore. Wtf over? Fudd hasn't come close to beating him since Nov '11 and while they will never admit it the truth of the matter is the road to the SECCG runs through their town until we force a re-route.
