I guess your saying he only deserves some of the credit not all? if so that statement is true of every successful coach except maybe a handful.
So good he was gone in 2 yrs. He was drafted to fill that Peyton hybrid RB/SR role that they lost with Darren Sproles. I think they could have afforded the gamble on a traditional WR. But thats my opinion, just like Peyton doesnt like LSU players. What is fact is he has hardly ever drafted any. You can justify whatever you want for that but thats also just your opinion.
It was Benson who hated lsu apparently. Now we're gonna load up on lsu recruits. Unfortunately Oeaux may not have anyone worth recruiting in a year or two.
@lsu-i-like @SaintSlidell I'm certainly not discounting Miles success. It's just an observation about continuing success throughout a coaching era. Those eight conference losses in '08-'09 really stick out to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
LSU's 2 conference losses in 2010 & 2011 combined, stick out to me. I believe Alabama lost 4 conference games in those 2 seasons. Jan. 1st 2012, Les Miles held a 3-2 advantage over his counterpart residing in your state. One school invested heavily monetarily, one decided to pinch pennies.
If that' were true, how can you explain the improvement from the "Early sucess" from 2005-2007 (34-6) to "Later success" from (2010-2012) (34-6)? In the later success seasons, there were 4 combined conference losses, compared to the earlier 3 seasons. which had 5 conference loses combined. Does the "State of the project inherited" last for 8 seasons?
Some, not all. Saban set the ball rolling, Miles took it, even improved it for a bit before he lost control. Don’t you worry, Orgeron has a step-by-step remedy in the binder fer wut ails ye.
I know I'm excited! Poor 'ol Les took 3 seasons to lose 6 games. But our Rosy managed to "Git 'r done" in just 21 games. (Or 1 season & 8 games). Magic it that there binder. Does he have a 'lil Captain in him?
