A few reasons. Because of how and where he grew up, plenty of people can identify with him. And now cause he makes money, the other crowd wants a piece of it.
The ironic and hilarious thing about Snoop Dogg is that he was down and out and broke off his ass in the mid 90's and then Master P (Percy Miller) came and helped him back on his feet and back in the music. Where did he live during that time when Master P was helping him back into the music? Right down the street from LSU in CCL (country club of Louisiana) with the rest of No Limit. I can even member the Crib's edition he did sitting in his back yard right on the lil lake right there. If anything he owe's Louisiana big time for getting him back in the money and what not.

Even if it is a fake diss it's still pretty ironic because it's def true Snoop is a big USC fan always walking the sideliness.
