http://gump4heisman.typepad.com//my_weblog/files/snoop_disses_les_miles.mp3 Beware: Sound clip has vulgar language. If that really is Snoop Dog, he's a bigger idiot than I thought!
Piss poor impersonation. Plus the recording quality is absolute sh!t. A rapper with the money and the studio he has would have access to something a little bit better than that--even for a rough recording or demo. Hell, Alley's rap sounds more impressive and I'm sure that it was done on little more than a personal computer. Plus, did you hear "snoop" hitting the cheap plastic computer mic? i SERIOUSLY doubt he's still using one of those.
Like anyone would give a sh*t what that piece of trash says... To me its a huge indictment of USC that they are automatically connected to a former drug dealer/pimp... and the fact that they let the guy wonder the sideline and talk to the team makes me want to puke..
He's kind of uncool now (doing mainstream commercials) but I love Snoop. He came from nothing to become one of the most recognizable entertainers of the past 15 years. "The Chronic" and "Doggystyle" are timeless albums. That's what I call the American Dream.
I’m not sure what Sports Scope at USA Today really is, but part of what they do is comment on other blogs. Here’s an entry from today called Fake, fake, fake, fake - LINK ___________________ Well shoot, I didn’t realize the link was already posted in the latest news section…
Let me say that I'm not a fan of Snoop and I would be happier if he weren't on the sideline. However just like many other rappers, he is immensely popular with players not only at USC but plenty of other schools as well. Might want to check the iPod playlists of LSU players....you're likely to hear Gin and Juice at least once or twice. Snoop is also not a stranger to the community when it comes to football. He started his own youth football league a few years ago and lowered the entrance fees compared to other leagues so that kids with less financial support could still participate. Many of these kids would never play let alone get any attention from ANY school so he's at least done some good there. The league culminates in what he calls the Snooperbowl and he brought the financial benefits of that event to SEC country. http://www.snooperbowl.com/ So if guilt by association is okay then better indict the city of Jacksonville, the Jaguars AND their cheerleaders, the local community there, and the NFL.
glad to hear it was fake, i acutally kinda like snoop even though he does back i team i don't like. i wonder if he was pi$$ed in '03 when he was doing all those promos for the BCS title game and his team wasn't in it.
