No biometric access to guns for me. Many people are going to think this is a good option. I don't. Every milli-second counts. Although I don't keep a round chambered, it's why many people who carry, do. Imagine yourself being at a traffic light and some thug jumping out from nowhere with a pistol. You may have a hard time drawing a loaded gun much less having to rack it in the process. In addition to the time factor, what if it doesn't open. Relying on one more mechanical device to work. No thanks.
Only people who want guns outlawed are going to think this is a good option. It's only a good option for the criminal who gets more time to shoot you before you can shoot him
