Philbin's a Notre Dame graduate, so his opinion may be a bit biased, but he has confidence in the Fighting Irish's offensive and defensive lines, along with quarterback Everett Golson. Stephen A. Smith doesn't agree, because he's got Alabama with the size advantage overall, even though the Crimson Tide's defense is not what it was when it beat LSU last season. Skip Bayless supports Philbin, however, because Notre Dame is much better than the teams Alabama has beaten so far. What's your take?
I wish Skip would have remained a writer covering the Big 12 instead of moving into broadcast media. He was one of the better ones out there.
skip is an idiot. I'm can't figure out if he actually believes the crap that flies from his mouth or if he is doing it just to get people worked up. I don't even think he is welcome in Oklahoma anymore. People on the radio here that have known the bayless family for a long time all think he is ridiculous now.
