For SC, they do not have to be a football power to take out UF. Hell, in 2007, they are the reason UGA didn't go to the SEC CG. SC is not a bad school by any means and what makes them a threat this year is the player base in key positions they have coming back. Add that to the fact of UF working in new key players, and they have a good of shot as any.

It is about the same way we think of Ark or Aub, in no way are they a power house as you would say, but on any given Saturday, they can beat us.

Then LSU will be 12-0 since LSU will beat Bama this year.

IF you get past the Florida swamp you certainly should feel that way. But unfortunately, you win toughest schedule in the SEC this time We on the other hand must play 6 SEC teams that get two weeks to prepare. So going to be tough for both teams to stay undefeated.

Spring practice, AJ McCarron and G-Mac are tearing it up with big passing stats. Some are predicting maybe the best offensive potential since early wishbone days. A-Day will be fun to watch tommorrow. For any with extenuating circumstances who just can't make it, it's on ESPN at 2:00 pm.

No it's not. First of all, you don't know what I think of AU or ARK. In fact, I'm not going by feelings or thoughts at all.

Fact: AU has gone thru periods of dominance, and has a fairly recent undefeated season. They have a winning tradition.

Fact: First of all, I don't think we should've let ARK into the SEC either, but we did...and they have at least been to the SECCG...recently. Go search this for me, and tell me the last time SC has been to the SECCG.

Fact: SC, under Spurrier, has been ranked several times...and has even had some great starts. But, they have continuously failed to keep it together, and haven't won squat. I'm not saying they can't beat UF. Hell, Ole Miss beat UF when they were at their best...AT UF! That's an anamoly. We go back and forth with AU, except here just recently, as we have won 3 in a row. But before that, the home team won every game for a decade. SC can't say that about UF. Same with Arky. We have a back and forth with them, with them finding ways to beat us when they have no business being in the game with us. SC can't say the same about UF.

SC is a wanna be, UF is for real. UF has lost players, yes. But they have replaced them with players that wouldn't even consider going to SC, unless they grew up in the shadow of the SC campus. How is it that, when we lose players, people talk about our recruiting and how we'll just reload...but with UF, who recruits at LEAST as well as we do, you think they're gonna fall below South friggin' Carolina?? (SC lost players too...and doesn't recruit in the same GALAXY as UF)
    -
Doesn't matter...like I said, every year someone comes on here tooting SC's horn...and every year I laugh. At the end of every year, everyone forgets the SC horn tootin posts/threads, and we move on. This year will be no different.

1st, I never claimed to know what you feel of ark or Aub....

    2nd
<<<<<<<<<THIS IS NOT A FACT. You are just spitting your opinion here>>:)

About Spurrier, he had some very difficult things to do with SC. He was the first coach in school history to get them to 5 straight bowls. He also plays fairly well vs TOP SEC teams. Since him being the coach of that team in 2005, he has finaly found himself in a position where he has some very good players returning and comming in.

I never once said SC would beat UF, I said they would give UF trouble, just as they did last year...

    "
You must be right and by this logic. LSU should have never lost to Ark 2 years in a row, but we did......

FYI, 4-5 star players will not always give you a victory vs lower stared schools...

LSU fans of all should know this.

The thing with SC starting off good then slowing down has almost always been related to depth.

Never TOOTED their horn, I simply said they would give UF trouble.. Translate that how you must....

    UNC and WVU: Likely win

You guys won't accept how bad UNC's offense is gonna be. and WVU is massively over-hyped, plus they will freak out in SEC game, at Tiger Stadium. You don't get those crowds at Temple!

    Ark: Likely Loss

Just how it is. They got our number, or more likely, we don't have theirs. And it pizzes me off!

Well, not sure how many of my SEC comrades made it up for the spring extravaganza yesterday, but over 91,000 hardy souls came to watch the latest version of the Crimson Tide. The defense actually looked better than expected with the D-line dominating at times. I thought AJ McCarron and Star Jackson did well at quarterback, but AJ seems to have that "it" factor going for him.

Over at Auburn the attendance was over 63,000 making for a grand total of 154,529 people in the state of Alabama to support their programs.

5 months till kick off folks, the passion for football in the south is unlike any in the country.

Love living in the South and enjoying SEC football. In Baton Rouge we get to play the best each year. Going to Bama or Auburn is one of my better trips each year.
Then throw in the fact that the Gators are a every year team for LSU is amazing.

Les has his hands full but all I can do is hope for the best. The Hogs, Bama, LSU, War Eagles, Gators - I would say out of that bunch one very good ball team is going to step up!

Everyone in the west feels they have their hands full. College football is so full of expectations and at the same time a ton of uncertainties. Yesterday I saw kids, like Brandon Gibson, stepping up that you knew for the first time, gets it. There are players like Dareus who already get it, but still are getting stronger and smarter and are now more dominate.

Through the summer off season programs and fall practice, especially with so many physically mature kids coming out of high school now, it's easy to see how much better these teams will become. With Bama, this bunch played intense, physical and they are fast. If the Penn St., North Carolina, and West Virgina's of the world don't match this, they will not fair well this season.

Dude, . . . it's baseball season. We're filling the biggest baseball stadium in college baseball. Football practice is great fun, but we've got the College World Series coming up and a top-5 baseball team.

We've got top-10 mens track team and a top-5 womens track team in contention with the track finals coming up.

Football will just have to wait 'til the fat lady sings.
