I trust Sonny. I'd ignore Mike if I hadn't read the same sentiments from Sonny.

Probably why nothing would go public for a while...

I didn't know that. I really haven't kept very close tabs on him as I considered him a long-shot.

If he comes in in January he's got a great chance to be a starter next year.

it's just what I've read. I've heard a couple of people confirm that he's on track. But I imagine we won't know for sure until it gets closer to December.

I hope we get Johnson. Corner will be our biggest weakness next year.

He's taking an official visit to USC the first weekend in December. He has another visit scheduled for Miami after that. Don't expect to hear anything prior to then.

right, from what I've read he plans on committing after his Miami visit.

but seeing as he appears to be more politician than recruit all that could change at any time.

I hope DandyDon's reliable source is correct. This would be a huge class if we could pick up most of these players.

TerryP seems to think Edwards is Bama all the way but that contridicts everything I have heard. Another rumor on the Bama board is that DeAndre's grandmother was wearing a Bama shirt the other day. Hopefully CajunSensation can clear that up for us.

I am still not convinced we give Jordan Jefferson a commitable offer.

I'm not convinced Dandy's source is anyone other than a Rivals/Scout member...

We should end this class on a very high note & move into the top 10.

He's definitely split on the decision but has said he'll follow his heart. I have to assume that means LSU.

I still keep reading that we want one more QB, but the only way I see Jordan Jefferson getting a scholie is if DC isn't expected to qualify.

Id be surprised if Benton and Brown arent wearing purple and gold next year. Im sure Benton is a lock for LSU.

If we do get Benton, Brown, and Tolliver, plus the young WRs we already have. I wonder which players will be asked to move to another position?

See, I have read it differently. I agree that he's torn, but when I hear him say that he'll follow his heart, my first instinct is to think 'bama. The local pressure on him is of course to commit to LSU, but reading between the lines I get the feeling that he thinks Alabama will be a better fit for him. There's definitely some infatuation with Saban on his part.

We'll see what happens, but I have a feeling we will be disappointed.

It's not just local pressure. His whole family is LSU fans & he grew up one as well. His brother loves Saban, but I don't think that will be enough.

When I hear "follow my heart", that tells me it's the school he grew up cheering for.
