DD quoted Miles as saying he wanted another QB and a stud RB, 2 WRs, 1TE, 1 or 2 LB's, 1 DE, and 2 DL on a radio show. I realize that Miles response may be predicated on not ticking off some highly ranked long shot recruits, but the QB position is probably the most controversial. If he really said "stud" RB it may be an indication that he does not feel pressured and will pass on signing a RB this year unless we get a special back, and that probably won't happen IMO. Perhaps Perriloux's inability to stay out of trouble is influencing LSU's decision to consider taking another QB. Thoughts?

With Odom being "kicked" off of the team, what happens to his scholarship?

Does LSU need to honor it even though he is no longer on the team and if so, for how long? Most important, does LSU now have an additional scholarship to give in this recruiting class?

If I'm not mistaking it ends when the school year ends because Troy Giddens was kicked off the team but he was still on scholarship untill the end of the semester now he has transfered to Co-Lin Juco where Todderick Bajoie goes also. Every year they reapply for the scholarship but I may be mistaken.

I think his scholarship will go away at the end of the school year, or perhaps at the end of the semester, depending on when he transfers.

We were already planning to sign the full 25-player complement this year, but the release of his scholarship will help next year's recruiting class, which looks like it might end up being a little short.

Rather take whoever Saban wants because 9 out 10 the person is going to be a good ballplayer. Julio Jones is someone who Saban wants and we want him and he is a pretty good player I might add.

I'll settle for another player ranked #1 in the country at their position.

I'm not saying who, but Sonny & Mike both seem to feel pretty confident about a big-time recruit.
