You have to admire a kid for committing to a program that's in the dumps and a completely unknown future for a Head Coach. He's a super talent. I have a feeling the pursuit will still continue despite his commitment.
What is to admire about that? It isn't like he picked his child-hood favorite or a school for the education. He picked it based on the depth chart... Despite original impressions, I don't think he had a commitable offer from us so I don't see us continuing to pursue him. Other schools may...
I think this is probably right. We're getting tight with scholarships, and we have high school kids highly interested in us.
Not much news in Alabama other than he is still trying to get his grades up. But if he gets his grades up and has the right attitude, he will be an alsolute beast. I mean Oklahoma offered him when they offered their other 5* RB's on day one, but only backed off him due to character.
He could have found similar depth charts that would give him immediate playing time and are still more competitive than Nebraska is now. Not to mention the coaching situation being up in the air. IMO, that's a big risk he's taking. And I did mean to suggest that other schools would stay in the pursuit, not LSU.
Moses McCray, a soft FSU commit, had great things to say about his visit last weekend. He said he was particularly impressed by the Engineering program...which he plans on majoring in. McCray said his official visit to BR did change his mind a lot when it comes to Les Miles and the Tiger program. I really like this kid and IMO would be a HUGE get. BTW...MM is 4 star DT from FLA for those of you who haven't heard of him
