I take that clause as the incentive for them to stay THIS season, so they didn't go down the road. They'll be bought out by Mich. and new head coach brings in his staff. It's gotta go that way. Except, I think when Bo Rein died, Stovall had to keep his entire staff for one year. But that was an unusual situation.

Doubtful. Sounds to me like they realize they are the favorite & he probably won't qualify so energy is better spent elsewhere.

another rivals article about Derron Thomas the 4* and 11th ranked QB according to scout.com since we offered Jordan Jefferson.

    Thomas concerned about playing time?

When athlete Darron Thomas committed to LSU in August it appeared to him as though he would have a chance to step in and contribute, either at quarterback or another position. With LSU's recruiting class filling up, Thomas might be having second thoughts.

Some of that is the presence of two other QBs and about 5 other wideouts. Some of that, I'm sure, is the coaching speculation. Once the coaching is sorted out, Darron will have a better idea of where he stands.

Watching the Missouri vs. Kansas game is the reason why you shouldn't disregard a player because of their height. They have two QBs that are not the 6 ft type but make plays and WIN thats why I think Randall Mackey deserves a shot.

My holding out of hope on EJ Manuel my have just gotten a spark. Georgia Tech has fired their head coach, Gailey. GT's Athletic Director is formerly of LSU & a big supporter of, you guessed it, Jimbo Fisher.

If Jimbo gets the GT head coaching position, EJ will have to reconsider his commitment to Florida St.

His high school coach said he needed one more point in his ACT/SAT to qualify. While Tolliver is saying LSU isn't his favorite right now, who knows where he'll end up.

from all that I've read EJ appears to be commited to Jimbo moreso than FSU. So if Jimbo was to go to Arkansas or GT I would imagine that EJ would go along with him.

But much like what LSU is going to do with Les Miles something tells me that FSU is going to up the ante and make it close to impossible for him to leave.
