    Darrell Scott info from Rivals.com

Colorado, which hosted Scott during the weekend of November 2, was rumored by some as to be the team to beat shortly after the visit to Boulder. Sonsini said it's far too early to talk about putting schools into a pecking order, but like Texas, Colorado did impress when it had its chance.

He's really impressed with coach (Dan) Hawkins. He loves the program there and thought it was great," said Sonsini.

Up next, Scott and his St. Bonaventure teammates will begin playoff competition on Friday night. The Seraphs are 9-1 on the season and won their league championship for 12th consecutive year. Once their season is over, Scott will refocus on the recruiting race and take a couple of more official visits.

"Florida and LSU are still in the running. We're still trying to figure out when we can take those trips," said Sonsini. "We're in the playoffs and that's the most important thing for us right now. He'll probably be taking those after January."

Doesn't Miles keep saying he really wants a stud RB this year?

Scott and Shakerin are the only big name guys considering us. We might really push to get one of them.

We should at least get someone. As much depth as we have at RB, I don't really want to go 2 years without getting a single RB.

Maybe Jordan Jefferson's teammate Jerico Nelson?

He's only said it once to my knowledge.

Scott is the only guy we're pushing to get, but it is most likely futile.

We did take a FB/RB last year.

Doesn't appear to have a commitable offer. Many think he projects as a DB anyway.

I haven't seen his name mentioned here (sorry if I missed it and duplicating), but there is an article on rivals about Deion Walker. He's been recruited by the Irish, and visited there along w/ Penn St. & FSU. He's going to USC on 12/1, but is trying to decide b/n Cal, LSU, FL & Tenn for his final visit.

Parso, do you know if he's been on LSU's radar? I don't know much about him other than rivals has him as a 4-star receiver. There were rumors he had committed to ND, but that wasn't true and he cleared that up in the article.

i posted in the den (on accident) but what is the deal with tolliver? i have little doubt we dont land him but the recruits saying they arent hearing from us as much is starting to worry me beyond tolliver.

That was my point, and they are humans too so I cant fully blame them.

But I dont want them to take him for granted.

Well carr put in a clause in his contract that his assistants get an extra year after he retires so it doesnt look like any of our assistants would go with Miles...so i dont think theres as much to worry about where there heads are at.
