Significant time in three games is much more telling than backup passes thrown at the end of a blowout. JJ looks good, and I believe we've seen enough of him to be optimistic about his development. The key word is optimistic. We've already seen ONE decent - looking Quarterback fold under the pressure. I agree that preseason top 5 is too high. I WANT LSU to be just outside the top 10-12. That's close enough to be in striking distance and far enough to stay humble.
Agree with the author. LSU should be the favorite in the SECW for '09 : 1. LSU 2. Ole Miss 3. Alabama 4. Arkansas 5. Auburn 6. Mississippi State
hijack alert: caddi, whats the latest on the plains regarding your new coach? still resentment/anger yet realizing you're going to have to accept this dude as your hc?
I want LSU to be ranked as high as possible because it often matters in the final polls. Just like it is usually better to lose early and not at the end of the season for the human polls.
tirk, jury's still out, news at eleven .... I'll circle back after the staff is completed :thumb: good Andy Staples article on recruiting and favorable to LSU: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/andy_staples/01/20/recruiting/index.html?eref=T1
