Be glad you were not one of the LSU fans that paid 3/4/5/10 times face value to watch that game. I surprised we didn't have some "jumpers" from the 4th deck!!!:rolleye33::rolleye33:
Since I was there no. The only silver lining in any of this is we will never have to see Jefferson run a short side option, bounce up and down as he takes a sack, or throw a ball so poorly even the other team cannot catch it. Or Lee who had a knack for allowing the other team to catch it.
I agree however don't get all giddy just yet. For you see the problem is that if we have learned anything it is that the beloved "coach" is a creature of habit. He has found something that he absolutely loves and I just don't see him letting go that easy. It has been stated before and I'm afraid we will see JL/JJ 2.0 very soon in the form of mett/randall and hopefully it works better, otherwise we are right back where we started.
I am not one on the "Miles is an idiot bandwagon" I still am 100% percent behind Miles. Agreed not his best day in the purple and gold. I am sure Miles didnt want Jefferson to be as horrible as he was and I am also not one to think Lee would come in and all of a sudden we are the Saints offense. No I have seen all I need to see from both of them. For Miles I realize we are actually very very fortunate. WE are not Texas or A&M, or Miami, or ND, or Ohio State. We went 13-1, we had one just horrible game, at a really bad time and we had the worst QB in LSU history at the helm while it was happening.
Not you buddy. Other posters. There are plenty of Miles is an idiot, fire les miles. They came back in full force. Some of it deserved but the man did go 13-1 beating the National Champion, The Rose Bowl Champion and the Orange bowl champion all in the same season
And I stayed at home, ate previously frozen gumbo from Christmas and drank copious amounts of rum and Diet Coke, that I already had in the wet bar, and yet, I still feel violated by that game last night.
