Really? Bama had the # 1 class this year Saban handed everyone their asses including Clemson. Why don't we all just mail them the 2019 NC trophy and not play the games next year with that reasoning. Counted 9 players Bama wanted that we took from them. We lost one player we really wanted in state we got the rest.
Nope kiki, Bama signed just 1 3 star player this class. Orgeron coveted 10 3 star players.Orgeron has signed 28 3 stars in his 3 classes, while Saban has only signed 12. It's lunchpail shrimp vs lobster.
I'm not going to disparage this class; it is very good. But the thing that usually seems to separate Bama from the rest is what you're saying here....its not that they load up on 5-stars; there just aren't that many of them to begin with. But they are loaded with 4-stars. I don't think we go looking for 3's (deep snappers and kickers nothwithstanding, I think its wise to go after them). But Bama rarely has to fill out its class with a handful of 3's. We, and most other schools, do.
Blah blah blah. We are rated the #5 class this year 5 better than Clemson the NC. We are building Bama is not. I really like this class. Stay away from fast food its quick but not good.
. Good point about Clemson. They have 24 3 star recruits in their last 3 classes. Not quite 28, but fairly close. Just a thought, but could Clemson have 'Mo Betta coaching? How long will LSU be under construction? Is Clemson building too?
