Cotton back in the fold, Livingston to leave? https://www.nola.com/lsu/2019/02/ls...davin-cotton-removes-name.html?outputType=amp I know we gotta drop players, but freshman DL? We’re not exactly loaded there.
I knew what the acronym meant, I didn't know if I was being complimented or not. Thus, the Thanks with a question mark. But thank you 65Grad for the helpful gesture just the same.
I don't have issues talking football. I have issues talking it with a person who pulls for a program that has taken cheating to new levels and then wallows himself in the success of that corruption and then comes here to preach to us little tiger fans with your pompous words. I'm not familiar with those sites but I guess you are. . Maybe you could give up recommending Porn to people that don't need it. Do you need for us to get you some help for your addiction?.
Did you happen to catch this? That pretty well knocks the "more reliable" out of the equation (unless you're of the Manti Teo fan club.) https://www.sbnation.com/college-fo...r-fake-recruit-247-rivals-recruiting-rankings
"I don't have issues talking football" "I have issues talking it with a person who pulls for a program that has taken cheating to new levels..." You've just proven one thing. You can't simply talk football. Proven how, you ask? Again, you're spewing bullshit. It's pure, unadulterated bullshit. What's entertaining, while ironic...is while you're accusing me of pomposity, you're also leaving us with this: The mental images you provide...
Personally, I've not seen a fan base turn on a kid that grew up in-state as badly as those from Louisiana. Is it specifically unique to the LSU fan base? I'd be a fool to say it is. Is it seen to a greater degree from LSU fans? In my experience, yes. Yes it is.
Are we not years removed from "in-state" being a *thing* when it comes to recruiting? We talk of how technology and transportation (among a few things) have changed the world we live in today. But, that's not limited to where kids decide to attend college or play ball? @uscvball tells of her daughter looking at schools 1000's of miles away. While it's a bad analogy to compare California to some other states, the story doesn't change. Their options are greater today then they were 10 years ago. Shane, I'm trying not to take "knock them down a peg or two" at face value. I'm thinking you don't mean that literally. But, I am still left a little confused at what you were attempting to say. Knock them down a peg or two from where? I'm reading this as if a kid sees an opportunity he believes is the best for them, but since it involves leaving the state and attending another school that's "too big for their britches," so to speak, and they need to be "knocked down a peg..." because... That's a cliche used in reference to those who have too high an opinion of themselves. It's not one I've seen used when talking about a kid looking at what he believes are his best opportunities.
Meh, this has no bearing on where a kid goes to school; maybe how he announces, but the hometown pressure exists everywhere. LSU fans are a net positive; I’d venture to say the Bama has a worse perception, with their crazy deep south/backwoods fans. But even y’alls legacy and Saban is way more influential in a kid’s decision.
we’re all about being spurned at the altar but we really like it a intelligent out of state player makes the courageous decision to continue his football career at the LSU
