    ...for the record though, if I'm not there, you bastids are missing out on a good breakfast Saturday morning and a pretty damn good tailgate for the game. That weekend is the weekend of the Washington Parish Fair. I will be there.

    I hope you win a teddy bear for your girlfriend before you lose too much money on whatever rigged game you are playing to win it.

    I was at a fair one time and some carny had a basketball goal set up and if you could make so many free throws you won some prize. A tall black dude got frustrated when none of his free throws were going in. He tried to dunk it 3 times and the ball still wouldn't go in. I thought there was going to be a fight between him and his buddies and a bunch of carnies when he demanded his money back

    Those carnie basketball goals are usually oval shaped, rather than a circle. I had heard that before, and I could see it when they were setting up for the festival here last week.

    When's they want to let somebody win a prize they probably give them smaller basketballs. Probably to a girl or some weird looking dude who look like thwy could never make a shot. Especially if lots of people are watching.

    Find out if they can cut us a break because we are travelling in from all over. Maybe they will let us book a couple times a little further out than normal

    The only money I will spend at the Fair is giving it to my kids or to her grand-kids to blow. The fair for me is about seeing old friends who I know will be coming in for the Fair. We take the camper out there and leave it for the week. We don't stay out there for a week, but is sure is nice to have a place to crash if I drink a little too much ;)
