I just started shooting the breeze w/ 2 apparent LSU fans in my hometown of Ocean Springs, MS today. Turned out they were Sidell Corley and Phelon Jones' fathers (Sidell Corley, Sr. and Tony Jones). They were super nice guys. We talked LSU football and recruiting for about 45 minutes. I told them not only had I read alot about their sons, that I had read alot about THEM. What great people. I look forward to seeing their sons play for years to come.:thumb: :geauxtige

I dont know anything about Jones' father but Corley Sr has a pretty bad reputation around Mobile for being a biased meddler and chit disturber.

Remember the situation during recruiting this year when he committed to LSU and then tried to hide the fact that he went on a visit to Bama after saying he was at his grandfather's funeral. Les pulled the scholly.

He constantly was talking about other players who eventually signed with LSU about their intentions to follow him to Bama. No recruit should ever have another recruit tell the media bogus reports about what he is to do with is future. :dis: He was wrong about all the recruits he discussed and never kept his mouth shut after getting his scholly pulled. He then played the sympathy card saying that all his classmates and friends from LA were not supportive of his decision. But he was the one who had no other choice to go to Bama after he lied and others were not supportive about how he handled the recruiting process.

He is delusional and Bama seems to be a great fit.

Yeah sorry I got confused for a second, Sidell was the guy who Bama said he was going to visit LSU only out of courtesy after we pulled the scholly from Luther Davis. Both Corley and Blackwell signed with LSU. got my Bama recruiting debates mixed up.

I guess I have no negative feeling about Corley then.
