I'm going to go the exact opposite on the matter and let them stir the pot with someone else's ire. Ranking anything screams "desperate for headlines" and though this is somewhat legitimate of a ranking (as opposed to ranking something like best fanbase or best stadium, a blatant attempt at making ad dollars), it is still not without illogical bias (Not including every championship sport? Uhh..) and an obvious curve to someone's alma mater. They say they tried to balance for coastal strengths... this is a ranking of the most successful collegiate program in D-I, correct? Then take every NCAA-recognized championship D-I sport and put it in there. They didn't do that, so it's really not worth our time.
