Doesn't matter anyway, if Bama players can sell autographed memorabilia in a dudes clothing store in the open this won't hurt the HB.

So is accusing one player of "bringing team members down" because you don't like their "posse". And I've been depressed, I know it sucks, I wasn't making fun of Hurst for being depressed if that's what you're insinuating.

Spencer Ware is from Ohio right? Never knew Mathieu, but two years later he is failing a drug test in the middle of the season with this guy:

And ERA Nation was using Freaks image to promote a party?

Why is it stupid? Matheiu's posse were riding his coat tails. He was a part of ERA Nation in highschool and the drugs and promotion were for their own benefit. Tyrann certainly was a bad infuence on the team in that regard. I always wondered why he made the X sign on the field....giving a shout out to his hommies.

So Mathieu had control over Spencer Ware's lungs? Peer pressure or not, I'd hope that a 20 year old could make that kind of decision on his own. If not, he has far worse problems than a teammate smoking cannabis with him. You honestly think those four were the only ones smoking? They were the only idiots who got caught during the season.

Those quotes that you just made. Yeah. I never said any of that.

And yes, it sure seemed as if you were jabbing at Hurst.

no, you are right about personal responsibility....and coaches are right in removing a bad influence on the team no matter how much the on the field loss would be felt.

The quotes pertained to the post my comments were directed at. I was using sarcasm to show how ridiculous his point was. I didn't make fun of Hurst for being depressed and I would never do such a thing. I'm still suffering from the affects of that crap and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I read your post wrong. Message boards can be confusing sometimes. My apologies.
