It made perfect sense, was talking about the bickering and whining about Jordon Jefferson vs Jarrett Lee. What good does it do, the game is over? Les Miles didn't play Jarrett and there is nothing we an do about it. Russell Sheppard got in 1 play and no one is bitching about it. Didn't you just say this is a message board, etc now you telling me to shut up?
It does no good for the players but heck, it's gonna be an 8 month off-season left on this bad note so you better man up because it's gonna be a rough offseason on this board. I will probably get sick of it soon but for now, I don't see how we shouldn't talk about it.
Miles "Big Boy Football" Get's Whupped by Soccer Player 5 kicks and a great Alabama defense...Miles comments yesterday about "Big Boy Football" going to be played tonight in reference to all of the offense displayed in other bowl games was laughable. No touchdowns, no field goals, no points, no win..."Big Boy Boring"...We got what we deserved with turnovers in the opening game of the season, but at least we didn't have to drink coffee to stay awake hoping LSU or Alabama would score a touch down...Didn't get past the 50? You gotta be kidding...Wish you would have won, but you got what you deserved this time...
You know I agree with you, I jumped the gun but I was so sick of the JJ vs JL QB thing before this game that it sent me over the top. I even apologized and people are still coming at me. I was trying to put the positive ahead of us and leave the negative behind us. IF people go read my original post my intent is clearly stated. Chances are I may not be back to this board for some time until things cool down. I do appreciate you reaction to my posts vs some of these other folks. I know it was probably my fault for the name in this thread and the first sentence. I get it, I probably deserved it. I'll be so happy when we get past this JL vs JJ thing, it really is terrible.
Who is coming at u??? You started a thread telling everyone to shut up. I called u on it. I saw ur apology post and before I could even tell u it was ok, you smarted off again. U started this stupid argument. The game JUST ended man. We have the right to vent here. Even the numbskulls that don't usually know their azzes from a hole in the ground have the right to criticize the performance. Of course we have a great team coming back but the wounds are fresh. This is a stupid to argue about. I think our posts weren't received in the proper order. Let's just squash it and move on
Sourdoughman - you are right the season is over, it was a great season but unfortunately had a crappy ending, but that does not take away from everything LSU accomplished this season. That being said we were completely out-coached I tip my hat to "I freaking hate to say this" Bama they played great and were coached extremely well tonight. But we have a right to ask question and especially after that offensive performance or lack there of. I agree with everyone, we had a QB on the bench that won 8 games for us this year that can throw the ball the coaches owe us answers after that horrible performance as to why they did not use Lee. The coaches owe the fans answers, it obviously will not change anything but they owe us answers.
It's cool, I know you mean well but may not have said it right :geaux: I'm already over the game from an emotional standpoint. I'm just disappointed now and I don't think I can watch ESPN for a while. I think we all just need a break from college football...Saints anyone?
Meh. We all need to swallow the bile. This didn't feel good tonight, coming after such a great Body of Work in the 2011-2012 Season. Everyone needs a good night's sleep--especially the Defense, who kept LSU from being blown away by even bigger numbers!
