LSU sophomore Jacob Cutrera of Lafayette may start and will play a lot Saturday against Louisiana Tech in the absence of regular starting middle linebacker Darry Beckwith, who will miss the game with a knee cartilage injury. Cutrera has been backing Beckwith up throughout the season and playing on special teams. He made one tackle Saturday in the win at Alabama. He has nine tackles on the season in seven games.
