So apparently that lunatic baptist church that protests soldiers funerals is going to be in Shreveport saturday for a funeral for the soldier in the article above.

There are going to be a bunch of state teabagger clans going to try and block them, which i think is a good thing, so anyone in North Louisiana wants to go they are asking everyone they can to go and support the family of the fallen soldier.

the family needs to contact the patriot guard riders. thery will only go on invitation by the family. they just dont show up. but the patriot guard riders have been a very effective barrier between the westboro cult and the families.

some of the first "anti-demonstrations" by the pgr's were here in oklahoma at a couple of military funerals. i think the organization is around 175-200,000 now. i really hope the family in shreveport will contact them if they havent already. its been a good barrier for protecting the families of soldiers from having to see that filth from the wbc.

im still waiting for a semi-truck to take a van load of those cultists out some day. all on accident, of course.

 

while the bible clearly states that god does hate fags, i dont see what that has to do with military funerals. presumably they just figure they have to do the most outrageous thing possible. if they want to make sense they should protest gay pride parades.

 

they are saying that god is mad for the united states acceptance of homosexuality so the wrath of god is directed at American Soldiers. Which if i were God, first of all i wouldn't care who is doing who, secondly if i hated fags, i would kill fags, not soldiers.

 

that really seems no less unlikely than any other religious assertion, which most people here believe. god is very vengeful and loves to kill off sinners, according to the bible. i wonder how religious folks know these baptists are wrong. after all, you cant prove them wrong. seems a bit arrogant to pretend to know the will of god, to know that he doesnt hate fags and soldiers.

god either hates soldiers or he doesnt. one or the other. cant prove either side wrong so might as well respect those who choose the other side, because they have the same evidence you have.
