And another thing. Why are you here trying to sell us on your team? It doesn't matter how much yakkin you do, pumping up WVU and all their hidden All Americas. It isn't going to make one bit of difference in what happens Saturday night. You do realize that, right? Why can't you just come on here and talk football in general without trying to tell us how good WVU is? I truly mean no offense by this...because I for one do respect WVU. But, they are not UF, they are not Bama. You beat UGA. We beat UGA several times. Last season for one...at GA, so don't blow the GA Dome smoke up my arse. We've beaten them there, too...in the SEC CG. You beat OU. So did we...in the BCSCG...right after beating UGA in the SEC CG. You beat Miss St. We do so every single year. Literally. You beat AU. We have done that 6 times this decade. Sorry, but the resume just doesn't instill fear in LSU. We beat tOSU. We beat ND. We beat every single non-conference team we play, save for one. - Personally, I have much more respect for WVU than I do the likes of Boise St. You guys ARE in the worst BCS conference, but most of you realize it. Boise St. can't even say that, though. They are a joke. I wish THEY would get in a BCS conference. ANY BCS conference. It wouldn't matter. It's one thing to get up for A big game/year. It's a whole nuther animal to do it week in and week out like we do. Like I said, it isn't a lack of respect...it's a lack of fear. Nothing that comes out of your blowhole will change that.
Would you expect me to come on here and not talk up my team. All we have in WV for sports is our Mountaineers. We have no other quality schools. Marshall was good when Bob Pruett coached there. They are just awful anymore. (go ahead and bring up how they almost beat us). Guess Saturday night will just be another chance for us to prove everyone wrong. I dont expect to be able to "win" any discussions on here. Just as none of you would be able to on our boards. I just like talking about WVU football. I think most of your fan base is underestimating our team. We will see how it plays out. To the other poster... Jock is not our best WR. he is maybe the most polished but not the most talented. Only thing he has over Tavon is experience. If Devine went down with an injury Jock would still be in the slot and Tavon would be our RB.
Dude, I've been on WVU boards all week. I have yet to mention any LSU players except for Peterson. You know why I mentioned Peterson? It's the only one any of them asked about. And we're underestimating WVU?? :rolleye33: The problem is, like I said...you don't HAVE to come on here and try to gain the respect of LSU fans for WVU. Up until kmart or whatever his name is came on here telling us how terrible LSU is and Peterson is the only player we have, LSU fans were showing respect for WVU. Now, because we don't just go ahead and admit that, since WVU beat UGA and OU, and ALMOST beat AU, we should just forfeit...you take it as a lack of respect. The more you act like that, the less respect you get. It's like you're trying to convince us how good WVU is. Truthfully, we already know WVU is a good team. They just aren't as good as YOU make it sound. And the more you try to tell us how good WVU is, the less we believe it. Also, LSU isn't as bad as YOU make it sound...but we also know LSU has issues. Have you bothered to read any threads besides the WVU threads? Look around...we know what our issues are...and in fact, several on the board have them all figured out...and know exactly how they should be addressed.
Sounds like a good week to me, besides the whole coke thing. I find it extremely comical that just because WV beat Marshall, Coastal Carolina and Maryland that they are big timers. Congrats guys, defiantly the year to be afraid of the mountaineers :rofl: You say how you beat Auburn and Georgia. If I remember right, we beat both those teams last year, Auburn 31-10. Geno Smith has never faced a defense like ours. Patrick Peterson is the best player on yall schedule. Go ahead and praise your team for being in a weak conference that continuously chokes on the big stage. After this saturday, you'll be glad that yall stay in the big east, instead of a real conference. The big east is garbage, if LSU played there we'd get kicked out for winning it every year. Poor things, keep day dreaming and just remember who has the :crystal: 2 that is :thumb:
LSU did not struggle with vandy, they gave up 135 yards for the entire game. LSU is 2-0 in SEC play and have given up a total of 10 points during that time. See you Sunday morning.
