We both rank tied for 61st in total offense. The difference is we did it against: Scoring Defense Rank Moo U=34 (29pts) Vandy=58 (27pts) UNC=91 (30pts) They did it against: Scoring Defense Rank Marshall=109(24pts.OT) Maryland=24(31pts.) Coastal Carolina=Not in top 120(31pts.) It appears we put up about the same pts. against better defense. If all is equal I like our defense against there offense. Yea I'm real scared:rofl: Its like posted before, we have speed at every position not just skill position. I think the skill position for WVU are VERY good but they will not get the support of the OL to help them shine.:nope:
All Gino needs is a heart beat to kid the ball to our skill guys in space. Short slants and passes to Devine out in the flat will be in large quantity. You guys keep talking about that speed coming around the end. Gino will step up in the pocket and buy enough time for someone to shake their way open.
Nevis, Downs, Pep, and Brockers will plug the middle too though. Should be slightly easier with one of your starting OGs out too. :wave:
I've watched quite a bit of video now. Smith is a good QB. LSU is going to have to do two things well: put him on his back enough to make him nervous; and tackle WVU's little waterbugs after he manages to dump a short pass to one of them. As an LSU fan, I would be very happy to have Geno Smith on our roster. He'd be good enough to win it all for us. Too bad he plays in the Big East...
