Might want to check on the way Les handled his exit. Same thing with the players and coaches that have been with him. These two are not even close.
oh i checked it. you can spin the opinions of either side any way you wish. les has proven to be class here but the situations are a lot more similar than some on this side care to admit. yet giving macon **** for seeing his coach through those same rosy glasses.
I had to search to make sure how to. I've always found that to be silliest battle cry or whatever it is. True and you know I've never given him a pass on it. Difference now is how he's (Les) handled himself since in contrast with BP's incident. I introduced that into this thread only to see if Macon could be objective and he was. I thought the post below was the lamest post of the thread.
I finally read this one I kept putting it off. Kinda knew what I would find . and I was right . The LSU fans are mostly one way the Ark fan he is another . When you play a team that is as good as they said Ark was you do not stop. it is not so much as running up the score but keeping the team focused on the mission which is winning the game . 63 to 0 is running the score up, like the might might ducks do like Boise State likes to do, like USC ( Un of Southern Califorina )does when they can . Should the coach say I am sorry , when is is not . No. The W Va coach in my mind is worse , I sent an email to W Va , raisng cain about him . Look at our Ex Coach , he is a mouther also, he was while at LSU . I also sent an email to bama , got no reply from bama . The Ark coach I just figure he ain't worth my time , . But just for him next season I will try to work my mojo in a few games his team plays in . He needs to be mad a lot , he is a lot like Myers is . He like Myers will have a heart attach after a game soon . If Ohio State wins and looks great . That will prove that Myers knew what kind of a team he left the gator fans with .
Check back, Les wanted to address the team, not leave a note. I never saw players or coaches talk about Les the way both have talked about bp. In this profession, it doesn't take long to find out who is a POS. Les gave back to his coaches when he was given a large raise at Ok Lite. He took the brunt of the media when his coaches messed up. He left Ok. lite in so much better shape. He gives back more than most any coach I know. He has his players do the same. I won't go into too much detail, but there is a very wide margin between Les and bp........too bad you can't see this. :tigereye:
i knew all about it likely before you but its all relative. ask the okie st players and fans and they will have the same view we do of petrino. of course. les has established himself as a class individual and learned from his mistakes. my point was clear. they both ****ed up when departing a team. one dudes still an ******* though.
i am not gonna say les handled leaving oklahoma state well. he didnt. even tho he had what he thought was a good reason (focus on the bowl game, not on him) it was still an error in judgement. but here is the difference. coach miles apologized and said he did not handle the situation correctly, no matter how good the intentions. that is what speaks volumes to me. being able to admit the mistake and apologize. some osu fans understand and accepted that, others havent. i see both sides in my own family.
Before me? Much of what Les did was because of LSU, you do know this? One dudes still an *******though. < I do like this part. Les has made mistakes, who hasn't? :tigereye:
