Maybe not to you, but perception is reality. And right now, the general perception of BP by his peers, players, recruits, recruits' parents, boosters, etc. is that he can't take his lumps and acts like a child when he's getting trounced. It is a fact that he represents the Arky football program, and that representation extends well beyond just you.

There is no sense in blaming the media for this. BP is the one that did it. It's not up to him what others make of it, and the media are certainly well within their rights to roast him for it. This is, in no way, a fabrication by anyone.

Let's also not forget that this is a matter of BP getting mad at Miles for the very thing that he's done to other coaches during his time as a coach.

    Bull-shiite.

You are correct, perception is reality and my perception is this is typical fodder being blown out of proportion by media and message boards. But as you say they are well within their rights. As twisted as they may be.

Really? I wasn't aware that the real reason ever came to light, just speculated.

Hey, if it helps you sleep better at night, keep thinking that. But BP already had serious character issues before he even coached his first game at Arky. His most recent antics only underscored that sentiment.

Not talking about your perception, hoss. That should be clear by now. We know that you'll forgive anything that BP does unless it's sexually abusing young boys.

You can't be serious here, can you? Did you even read the article that we're discussing?

I certainly like the way you think Steve and would love to try some of your cookin. Although it sounds like the atmosphere wouldn't be the place for everyone, you know, like those sensitive types.

Arky always runs up the score on lesser teams.
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that if the roles were reversed arky would have scored as many points as possible aginst lsu.
    B. P. is known to blow lesser teams out in spectacular fashion.

You shouldn't get pissed for having the same thing done to you that you yourself have done many times to others.

    B. P. just got caught showing his arse on tv. It shows his bad side. Still, it's football not romper room. I think that it's funny to see B. P. all butt hurt.

I don't hold it aginst him. He's a salty ole football coach. No story here. Not really. At least that's how I see it. I just laugh and smile all the while thinking of the thread some pigchit started on here asking how we are going to like the capt. 1 bowl. No capt. 1 bowl for us baby, we going to the ship! Mudderphucker on that coach B. P.

Yeah I read it. Did You? Maybe I'm missing something? It seems to prove my point that reporters need something to do? I don't recall BP giving a reason why he lost his temper in his short addressing of the question, though everyone seems to know why. In fact the only quote in the whole article worth reading:

"As far as the coach’s not recalling his, uh, mini-oration, that’s not hard to believe. People get carried away on the sidelines. Not to mention in the stands. If a little old lady from Texarkana can make her friends blush when the Cowboys fumble, the head coach of the state university’s big-time football program can surely be forgiven for losing his mind in the course of a humiliating loss for his team."
