And tirk was simply pointing out that there are two sides to every story, both of which can be twisted to suit each one. This is relevant to this thread because 99% of posters here base their opinion of whether or not he should apologize for Nov. 25 on his departure from Atlanta. I have read enough about Arthur Blank (CEO of Home Depot and big sponsor of E$PN), to cast enough reasonable doubt to the events prior to BP leaving. Some may not know that Blank and Jerry Jones are good friends. I believe both sides did their part in fudging up the break-up. Just because Deangelo Williams and those turds at E$PN did a stellar job of dragging Petrino through the mud before he had a chance to address the media doesn't prove their case. Only that the timing was bad. So why should a "mouther" (as someone here put it) apologize for cussing on the sideline? Lots of coaches do that. I don't see them apologizing. I watched the video and all I see is cussing and pointing. Sorry, tiga, to whom is still not clear to me. Maybe he is an azzwhole, and wants to kick CLM in the balls for taking us to the woodshed, I know I do.
Irrelevant. The matter at hand is BP making a fool of himself towards our coach. Everyone has their foolish moments, but only people so terribly lacking in judgment as BP go out of their way to do it on national TV. Baloney and you know it. You and tirk are the only ones that are lumping the two incidents together as one. Quit grasping at straws, man. No one is naive enough to believe that he wasn't cussing at Miles. It's just making you look awful silly not to admit it. Regardless, it doesn't really matter to any of us if BP apologizes. In fact, we'd prefer it if he did not. That way, he has no hope of savaging even a shred of dignity, and that only helps his division rivals in the long run. It's Arky fans that should want to see him own up to his actions. Ok, Baghdad Bob, but you aren't fooling anyone. If you're so sure of what he wasn't doing, then perhaps you could enlighten us as to what he was doing. Second request. We're all ears. . .
post #67 post # 96 Your coach leaves without a word. You don't know when to. :hihi: And I mean the thread btw, not the forum...and jokingly. :yelwink2:
I don't need this thread to make me look silly, just ask my wife. I'm really not sure either way, alls I'm saying is if the punishment for cussing a coach across the field was death as a juror I couldn't send him to the electric chair based on the video evidence. Sortof inconclusive to me. Just sayin.
Whooooooooooo. Good One. I know, right? I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment, like the boxer that keeps getting up off the mat.
You hang around here and next time your hogs come to BR you're probably going to be treated to some good Louisiana cooking by some of the people you came into contact with on here.
Thanks for having me Thanks. I don't think anyone did, but respectfully agreed to disagree and I appreciate it. I'm sure some of them would like to roast me good. You blew me away with the McClards comment, very suprising indeed. (that someone outside of Hot Springs likes it, a professional cook no less) OK I will respectfully bow out of this topic (really this time) with my business intact. Tia :geauxtige
