You're still doing size measurements here as well? lmao. "Dude??"....lmao.... I'm most definitely flashing back to the 90's. No ROV here.
Cushenberry (NFL), Lawrence (NFL), Logan, Divinity, Sullivan (NFL), Anthony, Lewis all in 2016 #2 class played on 2019 LSU championship team. 3 lineman, 2 linebackers & a receiver (3 linebackers if you count Ray Thornton, who played in just 3 games in 2019) Logan & Anthony returning for 6th season. *2016 class also brought us our only Butkus winner Devin White (NFL), Greedy Williams All-American (NFL) & Kirstian Fulton All- SEC(NFL), plus the 8 players above in 2018. I'm counting 8 contributors on the 2019 team from 2016 recruiting class, you somehow came up with 3 or 4.
Thought we would have a chance with BYU's OL coach Eric Matteos, if we are looking, but saw this yesterday. I know he & coach Grimes are close. Grimes had a top 10 Offense this year. https://www.si.com/college/byu/news...s-to-be-named-offensive-coordinator-at-baylor
I guess we have a different definition of contributed. Contributors: Fulton Lawrence Logan Cush Divinity spent half the year either suspended or separated from the team The rest were reserves who played in garbage time. Sullivan - 12 catches 130 yards 0 TD’s Anthony - 4 solo tackles in 2019 Thornton - 3 solo tackles in 2019 Cam Lewis - 8 tackles, 5 of which came in 1 game in garbage time against Northwestern St. Point was, our #2 2016 class wasn’t the main reason we won the national championship last year. Try guys like: Burrow Clyde Marshal Chase Jefferson Moss D. Lewis Charles Chaisson Queen Phillips Delpit Stevens Stingley TDP Brooks Fehoko Shelvin Vincent You know, contributors.
I often find the great coaches know how to spot those hidden gems. More times than not your best players are the ones that are not naturally gifted and have work ethic like no other. Great coaches spot that and enhance it. These super stars that don’t have to work for it usually fail when times get tough and they have to go beyond ability. I’m not saying all are that way but show me a group of men willing to play together and work hard and I bet they have success. These I would call contributors and last years team had a bunch of them.
