Would you be interested in a home and home with BSU? I think that would be an exciting matchup plus we could settle who really deserves to be ranked in the Top 5

As long as when we play at their home it isn't in the winter. Our Southern boys would freeze their Gumbo's off!:bncry:

    not no, but HELL NO.

what on earth does lsu have to gain by playing boise?

will we recruit better if we win? no, we will not recruit out of idaho very often.
will we recruit worse if we lose? possibly, because it will look like we're not a national power.
will we increase our level on the national stage if we win? no. we will be doing what we're supposed to be doing.
will we decrease our level on the national stage by losing? yes! we will have been beaten by a mid-major which national powerhouses do not do.

there is no reason on earth to have a series with that team.

I am for scheduling anyone who will play us. I doubt we would do a home and home with them, though. I think the neutral site idea will start to get popular in the upcoming years. Especially if we could do something regionally. There are large Tiger contingents in Houston and Atlanta. I would enjoy seeing Big 12 Matchups and ACC Matchups.

    No.

I don't think any BCS school should go to the blue field. It is a cheap way for a bigger home field advantage.

Plus, there is very little to gain from it. It would be a game LSU should win in the media's perceptive, but if they lose... Well, look what happened to Oregon.

He's referring to how both LSU and Boise State are ranked in the Top 5 right now. Like a friend of mine likes to say "that's respect."

negative. playing a team like boise state is a lose lose situation for LSU. If you beat them, well you were supposed to beat them so no real respect is gained, if you lose then well you lose, nothing good come from it. Especially not a home and home, going to play on that blue field, hell no. the only way i would play Boise St. is in a bowl game, or maybe one time at a neutral site.
