I think we stay with Lee as our starter, but if he struggles again I don't think he should be on the field.

JJ is good with his legs, but our offense looks very limited when JJ runs the team.

I think Mett should get in some serious playing time during the WKU and Ole Miss games.

We may struggle down the road and will need someone who can throw a deep pass in the game.

We will not face another defense like that the rest of the year unless there's a rematch with Bama. Our QBs will be fine.

Mett will have his shot next year.

Calm down just a bit. This coming from Mett's #1 supporter.

We just played the best defense in the nation.

Ahem, the 2nd best. Excuse me.

He'll be fine. It will be interesting to see how much playing time that JJ gets from here on out.

Something tells me that it will be a 50/50 split and will depend on how the game is going.

Agreed. I think JL will be fine, and as noted in the other QB thread, CLM will likely continue to use both JL and JJ the rest of the way.

I will admit that if Mett were to be thrown in as starter right now, the LSU offense would be better off than with either Lee or Jefferson going forward. He's that good. Even without the experience, we would keep the playbook simple enough and he would make all the plays.

Ignore all the outside b.s. about a "quarterback controvery". I have and I know Les Miles and the Tiger team has COMPLETE confidence in BOTH QBs. JL had a couple bad throws. Hello, he was playing against the 2nd best defense in the country on the road in an absolute mad house! It's not like our QBs haven't faced adversity in the past. Our QBs and our offense will be fine. LSU #1! GEAUX TIGERS!!!

I don't think LSU should change anything at all.

    BUT

If Lee struggles, then LSU has some decisions to make.

    That's all I'm saying.

I am hoping it's true that we will not see another defense even close to Bama the rest of the way.

I hope Lee remains the starter and we don what we have done all year.

Jefferson still has that 8 second release.

It's scary to watch as DE's come flying around the end.

Not only that, he was gun shy tonight. I know he didn't want to make a mistake, but it was SO frustrating watching him double clutch. If you see it, THROW IT!
