In this instance, Argento is a total hypocrite. She was one of the loudest when it came to Weinstein.....but she was being sued herself. She should have STFU.

 

Agree Hollywood is perverted and she is a hypocrite and that it's illegal. But I was17 once... it could have been 15 or 55 and noone needed to force me. I was more than willing.

 

That's you and I suspect a majority of hetero men....but it's not ALL and that's why there's a law and shit. Bennett's claim is that, "the sexual assault was so traumatic that it affected his mental health and stymied his acting career". I don't know if that's true or not but it's certainly not impossible and frankly he only waited 4 years to sue whereas Asia didn't accuse Weinstein until over 15 years had passed.

We have to have comparable standards and expectations regardless of gender.

 

Bullshit. When he was a kid he got kid parts. When he got too old to play a kid he just couldn't make the transfer to more mature roles. Happens to child actors all the time. Whatever happened in Wally and the Beav? The kids in Wonder years? Webster and Gary Coleman?
