I think this would only complicate things more for an inexperienced QB like JJ. More formations? More plays? He ALREADY looks lost at times, as should be expected from a true soph.

It seems to me that coach needs to put jarret lee in while their in the red zone because i think the only passing touchdown in the redzone was by Jarret lee, when he come in for 1 play LSU! :helmet: :geaux:

:crystal: If not start he should be given an opportunity to see if he can move the team. One or two sereis per game will give the team a change of pace and hopefully open up the offense

Three QBs with 3 different looks. That would keep opponents DCs busy.
It would also make history. A 3 Quarterback system.

I tell you what I would also like to see. I'm sure everyone remembers Bob Hayes. The Cowboys used to use him to stretch the field. They would only throw to him a few times a game but the other team had to cover him, usually with 2 players. He would tear down the field at full speed. The CB would have to play off him, or Hayes would leave him in the dust, which he usually did anyway and a safety would have to come over and cover. We could use Trindon Holliday that way . That would loosen the defense up.

How the heck is that a big IF?! He threw 16 picks last season. 16. You can't just deny that he's not prone to throwing interceptions. I'm all for hoping he has turned things around, but the last time we handed him the keys to the car he didn't do all that well. And we stuck with Lee for pretty much the whole year, so why not give Jefferson the same chance? I know our defense was worse last year but at least we're not getting blown out 59-21 etc. I'm in Jefferson's corner for the time being. If he continues to be terrible against Auburn then we can consider bringing in Lee, but if all he's lost to so far is the best team and the best defense in the country, I'm not going to blame everything on him.

lOOK! the Offensive line need to give this guy some time to throw the ball, hes been scrambling all over the place and when he doesn't see anything he runs the ball. The fault I see with Jefferson is that he doesn't know how to look off Corner Backs yet but then its the wide receivers job to make a way for the quarterback to hit them. I also see wide receivers waiting for the ball to come to them instead they let the corner backs jump the routs, I say wide receivers if your out there jump the ball, that way you will block the corner back from jumping the rout. Jarrett Lee played all last season and did a good job up to a point then all of a sudden he got this timid reality and started having the deer and the headlight look man grab your balls and face your fears and just do it. You guys better Pony up and step to the plate. I am a die hard fan GEAUX TIGERS but I'm am taking alot of crap because I live in Alabama so you know I have it rough come on guys get going and show the SEC WHAT BEAST YOU ARE!

I still think Jefferson is a little slow to throw the ball. But I don't like him any less as a starter, I'd just like to see Lee in there every once in a while
