I think we've seen all JJ can be. I wonder if the drops are contributed to by how long it takes for JJ to decide, throw, and get the ball there. Lee has a quick release, is more decisive, and therefore has more upside. We can only hope that playing time gives Lee the experience to get past his brain farts. It's possible the end zone int was Lee and Ridley not being on the same page.
I am somewhat optimistic with Lee, if he can be given more experience and reps with the first line offense. At least he does give the offense a different dimension, and may help with enhancing the running game, and most important of all, not waste our talent in the receiver core. I am also optimistic that he and JJ can work together (like MF and RP). He deserves some kudos today, coming through in the clutch with the final drive that led to that rather "unusual" ending!
Nothing is going to help this poorly coached offense. Confusion, penalties, instability. They're just awful and mark my words, it is going to catch up with us when we play a good team. I'm glad we have a solid D or we could very well be 1-4 or 2-3.
