Being DandyDon is spineless and refuses to put anything even remotely anti-LSU or negative-LSU on his site, I'll put the poll here.

(I know the results will be roughly 90%-10%, but still.

    I voted he should stay.

And I understand it's probably ultimately the wrong decision, but I just think that had they had the healthy guys, the team would be good.

And that's all that Brady could control.

I mean, someone could say "blah, blah, blah depth," but the team would have looked like this if healthy.

    PG. Temple
    SG. Thornton
    SF. Martin
    PF. Mitchell
    C. Randolph

    BENCH:
    C Johnson
    Mason
    Spencer
    Q Thornton
    Farrer

    Redshirt: Green
    Walkon: Terrebonne

That is in reality a pretty deep team.

It's not Brady's fault players were injured.

I might be short-sighted here, though. I don't know. I acknowledge that I might just be giving this team too much credit, but if they were healthy, I really think they would have been an upper-half SEC team.

Regardless, next year's team will be very, very good with all of the above players returning and 3-4 good players coming in.

Thornton and Randolph may be bye-bye, though, unfortunately.

It is obviously VERY difficult to assess this year.

I wish Brady would throw Green in the game more. Anyone know how many minutes he is averaging? His redshirt is burned, there is no need to have 3 guys over 30 minutes if it's not necessary. (Thornton was hot tonight, so ok)

They didn't win this game because of Johnson: he went 3-9 and had 3 rebounds (2 blocks).

What was up with Spencer getting 2 minutes?

Whatever happens, Skip should not be involved in the decision. He never took a real interest in bball anyway and was only concerned about butts in the PMAC. He's a lame duck AD at this point and the decision needs to be made by Lombardi.

I'd like Brady to go, but still not convinced that will happen.

Don Long is not a journalist and is not trying to make a name for himself by slinging mud around in an effort to rile up the troops. Dandy is a an LSU fan and his blog is a labor of love. He created his own niche and for those looking to whine, bitch and moan about LSU's failure to be the absolute best in the world at every athletic endeavor, his site is not the place to go. There are plenty of forums and newspaper sports sections that people can go to to get their daily dose of who sucks and deserve to publicly have their genitals removed. Dandy's site is an oasis from all of the chronic "woe is me" complaining that too many fans seem to relish. Geez, we're less than a month away from a national championship and the page has been turned for 3 weeks to the chapter about how bad Brady, Skip and the Athletic Department in general are for the psyche of people who want to always be the champions of every GD sport in the book.

    End of rant...for now.

    Thanks...

2nd thread in a row that I read that you hijack the thread by not giving any info... AT ALL... pertaining to the topic at hand.

Relishing in the title is fine... But life does go on. And the other sports do need attention, too.

P.S. When they took away his press passes a few years ago, he claimed to be a "journalist".

That's just FYI. But if you say he isn't, then I guess you'd know more than him.

BS. Whether Dandy Don has a spine or not has nothing to do with the state of affairs at LSU. If you want to slander someone, be prepared to defend your assertions.
