So I live in Houston now and have had so many people in my office who have no interest in football or LSU football for that matter find me and come up to me today and ask me pretty much as you see "What the hell was that all about last night " I asked what do you mean and they ask me what was the deal with the quarterback :rolleye33: and coach. All I can say is the defense played on hell of a game to change the subject. All morning its been things like above and "Why do you have George Jefferson playing QB" (Sorry the George Jefferson thing did make me laugh ). Longhorn and Aggie fans had nothing to cheer about this year so guess they are getting their shots in. Should have calle in Sick (hehe).
The whole country is laughing at Miles and LSU right now. Ineptitude of astounding heights will often generate comedic moments, and that's why folks enjoy viewing a good Keystone Cops film.
The reaction I'm hearing is pissed...at JJ. Course the reality of that is Miles enabled "it". They haven't come to that realization yet.
LSU fans might be pissed at JJ, but, I don't see why those who are not LSU fans would have that reaction. I would think that they giggled at Miles and LSU and turned the game off in the early 4th Quarter.
Since I'm a teacher, I've been getting it from all directions. I come in contact with well over 100 people a day. And for a game that "nobody was going to watch," it seems like everybody has. My best consolation line is, "Well, when I was in college, LSU had 1 winning season, then proceeded to having losing seasons for the next six."
Really why ?? Texas fans laughing at us ? OU fans, Ohio State fans ? WHy LSU beat 3 top 5 teams went 13-1 and won the SEC championship. How was the Insert crappy companyname.com bowl ? Why would anyone be laughing at LSU right now ? Making fun of our QB. deserved. But there are 113 teams that only WISH they had a record like LSU this year.
