Should conference divisions be eliminated?

If you take out the whole tubberville being an ass hole and cigars then I would agree with you about the war chickens not being a rival but I think there is some significant dislike there. Ole piss for sure and I think anyone with a pulse would agree the gumps are a rival. Every year both teams have that game circled.

Let's go to a nine game conference schedule. That'll balance things out nicely.

All of this reads, to me, as if a lot of gump fans want to keep an easier way to ATL so divisions need to be eliminated, or move teams around so the Tigers have an easier path.

I'd bet you money if we saw some of the teams in the east move west, and a team like UF has an easy path to ATL, there would be a lot of bitching.

Another reason for ending the East West division in the SEC is how terrible the SEC east is and has been for a while. Sure these things change over time, but right now the SEC east is complete garbage.
