He outscored LA tech.. Colt is one of the best kickers LSU has ever had. He is consistant and makes clutch kicks. He is 19/26 this year, and has made all 48 of his extra points. Pretty good stats for a college kicker. Most of his misses this year have come from 40+ yards. I remember how awful Richie was..he would shank some of his kicks and miss extra points..and he ended up a decent pro?
He's playing better now but earlier this year he was erratic. I, for one, was grateful for the last second touchdown, Flynn to Byrd, to not have to make a 40+ yard field goal to win.
Okay. Let's see. Colt is the nation's 3rd leading scorer with an average 11.1 points per game. He holds LSU's record for career extra points. His 19 field goals this year has tied David Browndyke's single-season record set in 1998. His 111 points so far this season puts him just three off the single-season scoring record set by LaBrandon Toefield in 2001. His 105 points kicking has already shattered the previous single-season record set by John Corbello in 2002. Overall, David ranks in the top 10 in 10 of 12 career or single-season categories for kicking and scoring. But he missed two field goals in the Florida game and a 57-yarder against Kentucky, so yea, let's can him.:dis: :dis: :dis:
