You serious? Dude, that guy had some run-ins with the law. That mug of him with his height measurement was not taken by them proping him up after they kilt him.

 

Guns aren't now and never were the problem. If a pilot is all fucked up and goes nuts and crashes a plane it's not the plane's fault. A gun is a tool. Now, do I want to be around someone I don't know with one? No I don't. Because there is no way of telling if that person is this loon that shot Scalise or if this is the person that is gonna save you from the loon.

 

Traffic offenses and faulty contractors license offense don't indicate criminal behavior or mental illness.

 

Yet you willingly drive on the streets and highways with thousands of people you don't know, each of them behind the wheel of a deadly weapon. When you fly do you know anything about the pilot?

 

True, but I have my own deadly weapon too, my vehicle. And I agree I don't like flying because of that reason, I've told countless people that the one reason I don't like flying is because I'm putting my life in someone else's hands. That's why I drive everywhere, I never ride with anyone. If I'm gonna die it's gonna be on me. Now you could say well, just go get a gun. I have 8 guns, but I'm not gonna take one into a restaurant and make others uncomfortable. If I see anyone with a gun, I just simply leave.

What about the people who carry concealed who might be sitting at the next table? Last week I saw a guy in a local hamburger place with his 45 carried openly. He was with his wife and kids. I thought it was a bit over the top but it didn't scare me.

 

That is true. Believe me, that is a BIG concern for me and even more so when my daughters pull out of our driveway.
