I'd seen that video before....it should be mandatory viewing for everyone in America. Look how putting himself in the officer's place for just 10 minutes changed that guy's attitude. Scenario #2 was an awful lot like what the cop in Ferguson, MO faced, I'll bet.
I posted that video on this board about 5 or 6 months ago. Good video. What does everyone think about the Minnesota shooting? That's a tough one. Gotta give credit to the female in the car with how calm she was, it's really incredible. Her boyfriend is a concealed carry, he told the cop he had a gun, went for his wallet cop shot him anyway and the cop was a fucking mess, screaming and sounded like he was almost crying, but the girl, calm and cool as a cucumber.
I think the MN was a poorly trained cop. Not a racist cop and should be punished as such. Not sure why the country has to flip out over it and start killing cops.
It's not the country that has flipped out. I understand the anger and outrage in this case, but what is walking down the street with a bunch of signs going to do? This isn't the 50's. Social change isn't coming. People are too set in their ways, all of us, white, black, brown, doesn't matter. Cops are going to continue to shoot people that don't deserve it, and why? Because of shit like what happened last night in Dallas. How many more lives are going to be taken because these fuck heads shot these cops? Anyone think cops are going to not be on edge now? Shit, if I'm a cop and I see anyone reach for anything, move any strange way and they are dead, I'll ask questions later.
IT is all about perspective LaSalle. Think about it. Do you know the number of blacks killed by cops? DO you know the percentage of violent crimes comitted in the US? The numbers show that a rogue racist cop is basically non-existent. It sucks, but this shit is NOT the norm. Its far from it. The left has latched on to the most uneducated people we have and convinced them of an evil that does not exist. You know what a real problem is? Fatherless homes, drugs, gang violence. Yet, the left doesn't care. They only care about making White males, white Christians, white conservatives the fucking devil.
I think it's the FIRST incident that really can be questioned. The Ferguson, etc. were all justified and never should've gotten the lip service it did. Holder and Obama have created all this shit. there are bad cops. camera phones have shown this almost daily. yes they shoot blacks at almost 10x a higher rate. thats a problem. as i explained and now being repeated, its because they are more violent. we know this. though the media, internet and social media make all this 100x worse even if the situation is 100x better than the 60s when shit was really bad. nothing goes unseen anymore. lots of this is manufactured but its just as dangerous. the leeches feeding off this hate are a big part of the blame. but dont kid yourself into thinking if you were black, some white person spouting statistics saying nothing is wrong would help matters with cops. it would piss me the fuck off. if i were a black man, telling me my race is to blame id be even madder. especially if i was doing my best in the real world. and even madder if i wasnt.
