This is a good read, it really shows you how much influence this guy had.

:hihi: Take it for what it is, evidence that one of the top high school football players in the country last year has totally bought into LSU and what its all about. We knew that before Guilbeau decided to write about it. If only we could get one like him every year!

That would be cynical. And insightful. :)

Also, Montgomery might not be the most reliable of sources. He's one of my fav recruits of this class. But he spreads it wide and deep from what I've read and watched. He's the anti- Randle of interviewees.

not downplaying shep at all. love the dude and what he does for the program, i just always flinch at anything positive guilbeau says about anything associated with miles because we all know how he feels about him.

so i took it akin to a "hey, you look pretty, what's different?" compliment.

here is my question, does sheppard come to LSU if he who must not be named is still our head coach? i am willing to bet that lord voldemort would have not even let the guy try to play quarterback.

if i remember the pat white story correctly, saban changed his mind and said he'd let white play qb once he figured he had no shot at getting him otherwise. white didnt believe him.
