This is what Shepard has been saying Russell Shepard has some parting shots for LSU My guess, pure guess, is that Shepard would have been totally honest and LSU didn't want that.
I read that little article and it made Shep look rather foolish, by posting his sorry stats next to RR's and OBJ's, both of whom caught 4 times as many passes.
the 1 comment mentions he probably blames the coaching and play calling above all. This I could believe. So he's leaving because he's embarrassed about Monday?
My guess is that he hasn't fully made up his mind yet. But I know that isn't the juicy stuff that makes the news more "fun".
If this is how the kid responds to adversity and frustration then let him go. He's being very immature about everything.
He (and all of the guys) need to stay off of Twitter for a while, but that's the way kids communicate these days, so they cannot help themselves. They don't realize that when they air that stuff, they can come across as looking very immature--which is how the Yahoo article portrays him, along with NFL scouts almost scoffing at him. Also, his feelings are getting hurt on Twitter by "twits" mocking him in one form or another, apparently.
