Shep may be unhappy with his amount of playing time and the number of receptions he had this year, but he should shoulder some of the blame on himself. Remember, HE got himself suspended for 3 games. 3 Games that saw the emergence of ODBjr. I have no doubt that if Shep does not get suspended, he gets some of those touches. I hope that is what his family told him when he went home to Texas to decide whether or not to return. This is really familiar: JJ can't blame anyone for not having enough touches or not coming back to the team and being the starter right away, he got himself suspended and had to wait his turn again. I am glad Shep is going to return. I think he is a good kid and can offer some Senior leadership to a WR corps that is young. Having said that, he will have to work his butt off to beat out several of the youngsters.

Amazing how that worked this year.....

Shep gets himself suspended and Beckham steps up
Jeff gets himself suspended and JLee steps up
Spencer Ware gets himself suspended and Hilliard steps up.
TM7 gets himself suspended and Ron Brooks steps up.

Shep, great news. Work hard, keep a good attitude and hopefully you'll have a dream season.

Oh--and I hope Les told you: "Your only having 3 plays was absurd. I don't know how it happened, we were in a bizzaro world. I will never let it happen again. Work hard. Continue to improve and you'll have a key role in the offense next year"

Ok RS is coming back that is awesome news for the Tiger program and Tiger Nation, enough of the negative comment bullsh*t. The Tiger Nation doesn't need it or want it. Congratulate the man for coming back and not only helping us next year but achieving getting his degree also that is what this is supposed to be all about. Hopefully next year CLM puts his talents to work having a weapon like RS sitting on the bench is stupid, there has got to be away for CLM and our OC to get this kid involved with his speed and his ability to make people miss not utilizing his talents is a waste. People give this kid crap without understanding that it is the coaches job to figure out a way to utilize his talents NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. This kid came out of high-school to highly rated on EVERYONE'S BOARD, I just can't believe that we are utilizing what we have with RS, it is our coaches job to get it right. Hopefully he keeps his nose clean and understands that the harder he works the luckier he will get and a great senior season will help him achieve his dream of playing on Sunday's.

That being said, like I said above he is coming back so it is our job as supporters of LSU and the Tiger program to be positive and be thankful that RS is coming back to help us in 2012. He is a talented football player and we will need his senior leadership. Go get-em RS work your arse off and put up numbers that will shut everyone up!!!
