    why in the hell does he care? how many "jumpshots" does he take a year?

    What will the ball do? make his FT shooting worse?

    All jabbing aside, I've been hearing from everyone that the new ball sucks... so we'll see

    True. Like D. Wade said, he will probably benifit from more missed shots and therefore more rebounds.

    Has anybody read why they're really switching balls? It must be a marketing deal, but that seems like a steep price to pay.

    The only positive comments I've heard about the ball are from guys that are more likely to have them in a lucite box in their bookcase.
